Saturday, 21 January, 2017, in Pontio, Bangor University
Hacio’r Iaith is a Welsh-medium digital and language technology event, which has run every year since 2010. This year again, after a visit to Cardiff last year, the event will take place at Bangor University, in the new Pontio building, straight after the Language Technology conference on Friday.
The event is open to everyone, and you are welcome to join in. Why not suggest a topic for discussion, or lead a session yourself. Resources such as tables for laptops and cosy corners for debates will be available, in order to facilitate the sharing of ideas in an informal, relaxed environment.
In the past participants have discussed a number of issues to do with Welsh, digital media and technology, and workshops have been held on how to create Wikipedia pages, blogs, apps, and much more.
In order to register for the conference, follow the link below to secure your place. Registration is free of charge to all.
